What orbit regimes does SkyMapper cover?
All of them — LEO, MEO, GEO, and HEO. Our all-latitude telescope network provides observation geometry across every inclination and altitude (including SSO), with no geographic exclusions.
How is blockchain verification implemented?
Every observation and data product generated by SkyMapper is cryptographically hashed and recorded on an immutable distributed ledger at the moment of generation. Each delivered product — OD, CDM, proximity alert — includes a blockchain receipt that any third party can independently verify, without access to our internal systems.
What formats do you deliver data in?
All standard industry formats: TLE, OPM; TDM (observation data); CDM (conjunction data messages). Custom formats available on request.
How does SkyMapper differ from LeoLabs or Slingshot Aerospace?
LeoLabs operates a radar network concentrated in mid-latitude sites. Slingshot Aerospace provides optical and GNSS-based services with selected global sites. Neither covers all latitudes — particularly southern hemisphere and polar sites essential for SSO. Neither offers blockchain-verified data integrity. SkyMapper is the only commercial provider combining true all-latitude optical coverage with cryptographic data provenance.
Can I use SkyMapper data for regulatory reporting?
Yes. Our data is delivered in CCSDS-standard formats accepted by the FCC, CNES, ESA, and other space agencies. Our blockchain provenance chain provides independently verifiable records for compliance submissions and regulatory audits.
How quickly can I get my first OD?
For on-demand services, turnaround from tasking confirmation to first data delivery is typically 24–96 hours after the contract is settled. For annual subscribers with configured tasking, initial OD is delivered within hours of the first observation pass.
